For as long as I can remember I have had a love affair with Paris. You know what the weird thing is – I’ve never actually stepped foot in France, let alone Paris itself. Maybe it’s the way the city is romanticized, with the splendid idea of love that floats caressingly through the air, looking to envelope you, and send you on a rendezvous of a lifetime; Or maybe it’s the Parisian cafes, bustling with the melody of clinging wine glasses, and the crunching of baguettes, along the cobbled streets; Or just maybe its the way the Eiffel Tower stands so serene over the city, beckoning you to gaze at her beauty, admiring her curves, and taking in the way she glistens at night. Whatever the reason may be, I can’t help but lose myself in photographs of its grandeur, and dream of the time I pack my bags, and step foot in a city where my next adventure can begin.
For this Whimsical Wednesday, I will share with you some of my favorite pictures of Paris.
