Now that I have jumped on the subscription bandwagon (and can’t get enough of it!), I thought it would be fun to get Brooke in on the fun. I mean, who doesn’t love receiving mail, and when it’s filled with fun toys and activities, I knew I’d hear some oohs and ahhs when we opened the box. This month we gave the Animal Trackers Subscription Club a try. She’s recently been incredibly interested in animals, so it seemed like the perfect fit!
Animal Trackers Club is an affordable monthly subscription that sends your child on an animal Safari adventure. Each month they get to learn about a new safari animal, and do a variety of activities that are focused around that specific animal. For this month, we got to explore the world of the Zebra. She received a lovely lunchbox, which is meant to hold her collection of cards, magnets, and animals, as the months go on, and inside of the lunchbox, there was a fun zebra mask, a life-like zebra figurine toy, a zebra magnet, an information card, an art project, and a card activity.
What she thought of it:
She was definitely excited to learn about zebras. She quickly tried out the mask, and galloped the toy zebra around. She then played the card game (it was basically Memory, with safari animals), and followed that by gluing her zebra stripes to her paper zebra (the art activity). She really enjoyed everything that came in it, and was looking for more to do.
What I thought:
I think it is a wonderful subscription, I just think that my daughter is at the tail end of the age limit. She had a great time doing the activities, but very quickly went through them, and asked, “what next?” I would say this subscription is best for 3-4 year olds (preschoolers). The concept is great, and learning about animals is always fun for the youngin’s, so I totally recommend this if you have a preschool aged child. They will absolutely get a kick out of it!
