I’m all about simple, and anyone who knows me knows that I love curls. I usually do curls with a curling iron, but I just got a new straightener, and thought it would be fun to experiment. I have always liked the way beach waves look, but when I tried it with a curling iron, it took much longer than just doing regular curls. Now that I have a straightener, I have started to do it a super quick and easy way, that comes out just right. Check out below how I get beach waves with a straightener in 3 easy steps.
How to get Beach Waves with a Straightener
Step 1. Braid your hair into pigtails. Make sure that your hair is totally dry before doing so, and choose how many braids you need, based on how wavy you want your hair.
Step 2. Run the straightener over your braids. Yep, all you do is take your straightener, starting at the top, and run it down the length of the braid. Do this with each of your braids. They will be warm to the touch, which let’s you know that they are being heated through. Let them cool down before doing step 3.
Step 3. Take the braids out. Finito! Simple as that!
Which wave do you like better?
The straightener that I am using is the EV Beauty Pro Line Straightener. It has adjustable temperature, so that you can use it on all hair types, and works on both wet or dry hair. I love that it heats up super quick, and that it has fast heat recovery when you are using it. It is lightweight, easy to use, and I am loving it so far. It is really versatile in what it can do, such as not only straighten, but curl, flip, and obviously waves! I can’t wait to try out even more fun hairstyles!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally, and believe will be good for my readers.
